Imbolc 2023: The Return of the Light

Sunday, February 5th @ 2pm

Come join us at Ffynnon as we celebrate together the first stirrings of the seeds of spring, honoring Brigid, the Names and Images of the myriad Goddesses of our community, and the Return of the Light!

The evergreen crowned Goddess of Light leads us on a spiral walk, where our individual candles add to the magic until the entire spiral pathway is filled with Light, showing us the Way.

We will scatter the ashes gathered from the Yule fire upon the earth, returning their elements to the land and completing the cycle of life-death-life - nourishing the new life and the eternal cycle of regeneration.

As we walk the forest, we will find where this year’s new sprouts  naturally occur, renewing the life of the forest — looking for a likely tree to serve as this year’s Maypole!

This is a free event, and registration is required. We kindly ask for your generosity in making a donation if you are able, to cover expenses and ensure we can continue to provide free events for our community.
